The SpatulaCity Factory Outlet: Closed due to, well, too much business

Hey there folks. OK, so as some of you may have noticed, when you go to the Shop, you are met with the ultra-happy image you see above. OK, so here's the full lowdown: First of all, if you made an order with us before the Ultrahappyfungraphic appeared, you WILL be getting whatever it is you ordered. So don't start tripping out, worryworts! That being said, the shop has up until now literally just been Frankie and me in his basement screening shirts to order. It's fun, we're glad we have the means to do this, and we are totally shocked and awed that so many people wanted stuff (like, REALLY shocked), but we had a band meeting and decided that as radically DIY as we are, we kind of feel like it's a little more important to be actually making music rather than shirts about the music we no longer have time to make because we are constantly screening shirts and fulfilling orders. Seriously, it was becoming a full time job and we just don't have time to do all of that AND make records.

So, we figured we'd get back to doing what made people want to buy shirts (and other stuff) in the first place: making house music. And that's what we're doing. We are stepping back and focusing in on the label, our own work (for SpatulaCity of course as well as several other super-cool projects coming up), and, well, that's it. Music is being pushed back on to our frontburner for a while, so stay tuned for updates in that regard, and don't fret about the store. We are in the process of figuring out ways to be able to sell crap without having it eat in to work time as much. So you all will be the first to know when we figure it out... Honestly, if anyone knows any t-shirt gnomes willing to work for moldy bread crust, let them know they are HIRED!
